Raybium
RAYBIUM was the first start-up company to use the Fiber Optic Valley Labs concept. Their core business is the development of high performance fibers for fiber lasers. Fiber lasers are widely used in several industrial applications such as cutting, welding and marking of steel, foil and plastics. The fiber laser market has seen a dramatic increase over the last decade and is expected to keep increasing.
The optical fibers provided by Raybium have shown to be very competitive, offering added customer value in terms of higher reliability and a longer lifetime compared to other fibers on the market. A great interest was shown for the company products at the Photonics West exhibition last year, where Raybium co-exhibited with two other Swedish companies organized by the Fiber Optic Valley. The participation resulted in several customer enquiries and new business relations.
Raybium was a co-exhibitor even at this year’s Photonics West, held in San Francisco, where Raybium built new relations and met with potential customers.
